HMS "Prilepsko Pole" - Prilep
The irrigation system is closed-type gravity with a 309km active network for irrigation of 1450ha of agricultural land. The total accumulation capacity is 6 030 000 m3 of water. Irrigation is carried out on a self-service basis with irrigation (throughout the irrigation season the system is full of pressure).
In the drainage section, it operates a drainage system that includes the following five municipalities: Prilep, Krivogashtani, Dolneni, Krushevo and Makedonski Brod. The drainage system of the Prilep part of Pelagonija consists of: part of the river Crna (from the village Klepach to the village of Buchin), the "Blato" district (main recipient of the river Crna), Ribnik, "Senokoshki", "Globoko", "Dobrushevski", protective channel Saradinovo, Zadgradska, Gradshka, Krushevska, Shtavichka, Volkovska, Marulska, Podmolska, as well as certain watercourses that flow into the above. The total drainage network of the drainage system is 183,100m, many of which are regulated. The hydro-melioration region that drains, covers an area of about 25,000 ha, of which a large part is agricultural land, and a small part of construction land.
A.D. "Water Management of the Republic of Macedonia" Branch "Prilepsko Pole" - Prilep uses, maintains and manages the irrigation and drainage systems as a whole, due to:
- water supply for irrigation
- water supply to a utility company for water supply for human consumption (drinking water and other needs)
- water supply for industrial and technological (commercial) needs, including the production of electricity
- edit the riverbeds
- land drainage
- discharge of discharged waters
The Subsidiary as a customer service provider shall provide water for irrigation of the areas of agricultural land located in the territory (area) of its operation during the duration of the irrigation season according to dynamics, quantities and in time determined according to the type of culture cultivated , it is seized or planted on that agricultural land and according to the request of the User addressed to the Seller.
The signing of the Agreements starts from April 1 to June 30 each year.
In the drainage section, users of surfaces that are in the drainage system pay a drainage fee after submitting the Drainage Decision by the "Water economy of the Republic of Macedonia" - Skopje.
