The area of activity of AD Water Management of the Republic of Macedonia, Branch Office Polog - Gostivar is a geographical area that covers areas and users in the municipalities of Gostivar and Vrapchishte, as well as the areas of agricultural land in the municipalities of Tetovo, Brvenica, Zelino, Tearce and Jegunovce.
In the subsidiary Polog - Gostivar, the main activity is irrigation of agricultural areas, and additional activities are: management of river beds, control of river sand and gravel runoff, tracking of landslides, etc.
Irrigation at the Branch Polog - Gostivar is organized through the National channels:
- "Zdunje-Pirok" is a water intake from the river Vardar with a capacity of 4.1 / sec. and the length of the 15km channel,
- "Radiovce-Bistrica" with a water intake from the river Vardar with a capacity of 7,8 / sec. and the length of the channel is 25 km and
- The so-called "Old Systems", who use water for irrigation from the Shar Mountain massif.
Accumulation in the village Vratnica, Jegunovce municipality, used for irrigation of agricultural land, most of which are vineyards.
Small accumulation of Shar Planina in the village of Gorjanе, municipality of Vrapchishte, used for irrigation of agricultural land in the village of Gradec.

Part of the "Zdunje-Pirok" main channel, whose length is 14,860 km.
Intake of the Vardar River in the village of Radiovce-Brvenica, with a capacity of 7.8 m3/s, with a concrete dam on the river Vardar.
Accumulation "Vratnicko Lake" in the village Vratnica-Jegunovce municipality, which is used for irrigation of vineyards, and is mostly used for sports and recreation, especially for fishing, with a capacity of 410,000 m3 of water.
Mini accumulation "Lovka" is a village Gorjane-Vrapchishte, for irrigation of agricultural land in the area of the village Gradec, with a capacity of 113 592 m3 of water.
The accumulation has two small dams.
